


MBBC will provide foundational instruction in the basics of brewing science and technique to cover the origin of various raw materials and their contribution to the final product, brewing practices and their influence on beer and recipe development.Īdditional Intern responsibilities will include general lab clean-up/organization, data collection and entry, participation in sensory analysis, and project work as needed. Included, this person will focus on chemical and physical analysis of beer, wort, and raw materials, including measurement of pH, IBU, ABV, diacetyl, and other chemical components of beer. The ideal candidate will split time during the intern focused on microbiological stability of wort, beer, and yeast cultures, including sample collection and plating, sterile filtration, and media preparation.
