since I have a 10/6/2 amp charger, when maintaining a deep cycle/starting battery (as above), should I charge at 2 amps 1x/mo? My charger will stop and float the battery then quit charging. The dependable, high performance EverStart POWER MAXX-27DC is designed for applications with high starting power for quick engine starts and extra reserve capacity for accessory loads ideal for boats and RVs requiring additional cycling capabilities. Should I stay away from this brand (Everstart)? Any experiences out there.?Ģ) Charging. The current battery in my boat is a starting/auto battery (same one when I bought it last year). If I need a new battery, would this be sufficient - Everstart MAXX Marine deep cycle/starting 875 ca/125 am hours, 205 reserve. When it comes to powering your boat, move with purpose with this EverStart Maxx Group Size 29 Marine Battery. Also have a cd player but don't really play it for extended periods without starting engine up (call me paranoid).ġ) Went to Wallyworld today during lunch and looked at their Everstart MAXX Marine 29 (the largest they sell). I think Exide is making Interstate batteries again. Some of there employees are not the brightest and dont even know that. That sucked The 29 maxx has a 2 yr warranty and the regular 29 has the 1 yr warranty. The new new only have a 1 year replacement warranty now. I think Everstart is manufactured by Exide now. 21 05-09-2019, 04:52 PM Originally Posted by high 2 Just replaced one this afternoon. The high-performing batteries of Duracell have slow recharge and deep discharge and can withstand incredibly hot and cold temperatures. I have another thread going in electronics (and have gotten some great advice) but no one knows the size I would need for my engine (please see my signature). 12-22-20, 09:50 PM PJmax Group Moderator Join Date: Oct 2012 Location: Jersey Posts: 62,550 Upvotes: 444 Received 3,493 Upvotes on 3,136 Posts Its very hard to keep up with.
